Pet of the Week: Sora! (8/10)

Meet Sora! Sora is a roughly two and a half year old Akita mix. Sora came to us as her family became unhoused and could not keep her. 

Sora can be shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she is a big love bug!

Sora is looking for a nice, quiet family who is willing to be patient with her and give her all the attention she desires. She wants to get to know you first, but once she trusts you, she LOVES belly rubs and scratches and playing outside! 

She is such a sweet girl but she doesn’t get along with other dogs or with cats. Ideally, she really wants to be with someone who can love her and only her! If you need an extra pillow, some cuddles, and enjoy being outside she is your gal!  

Sora is being treated for entropion, where her eyelids are rolling inward and her eyelashes are irritating her eye.  We are working on scheduling her surgery to correct that condition.
