Every year, Acadia National Park closes several trails to protect nesting peregrine falcons. Friends of Acadia/Ashley L. Conti BAR HARBOR, Maine - To provide peregrine falcons adequate space for nesting, the National Park Service temporarily closed areas including Jordan Cliffs Trail, Precipice Trail, and Valley Cove Trail in Acadia National Park until further notice starting March 1.
