Wander the Schoodic Arts for All Festival Showcase, and experience acclaimed classical music duo pianist Gregory Biss and violinist Trond Saeverud, headliners for the Schoodic Arts for All Festival, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Pianist Gregory Biss and violinist Trond Saeverud present a program of all-time favorites for violin and piano, including Ravel’s dramatic Tzigane, Chausson’s gorgeous Poeme – and Debussy’s groundbreaking sonata. An evening of French fragrances, passions and magic.

Violinist Trond Saeverud and pianist Gregory Biss have performed together since 2006; most often as a duo, but also in combination with visiting summer colleagues from New York and elsewhere. Their concerts have included several premieres and revivals of obscure works that deserve attention – one of them to be presented tonight. The August 12 recital focuses mostly on all time French favorites for violin and piano – including some of the most beloved pieces on the violin repertory.

Enjoy private van transportation from Hammond Hall after the show for a stress-free ride to the Schoodic Ferry, and a beautiful night ride back across the Bay.

    Trip Time: 4:00 pm - 10:30 pm.
