Pet of The Week: Sabine (7/14/2025)
July 14, 2025PET OF THE WEEK
Sabine is a soft, quiet kitten with a gentle soul and the sweetest eyes. At just five months old, she is still discovering the world and learning to trust it. While she may be a little shy at first, there's something truly special about watching her come out of her shell, one small step at a time. When Sabine first arrived at the shelter, she preferred to stay tucked into cozy hidey beds, observing from a distance and taking everything in. Little by little, she has started to show more of her personality. She has discovered the joy of play! She's especially fond of folks who will give her a moment to warm up before jumping into excitement..
Sabine is looking for a home where she can continue to build her confidence at her own pace. She would do well with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time, but that it's worth every moment. There is something incredibly rewarding about earning Sabine’s trust. She may not be the first to run up and ask for attention, but once she feels secure, she will offer her affections. She is well on her way to becoming a loyal, loving companion, and she just needs the right person to help her along the way.
If you have the patience and quiet love to give this pretty kitty, Sabine might be the perfect match for you. You can see her at the SPCA-HC Tuesday-Saturday from 12 to 4. Please fill out an adoption application if you’re interested: spcahancockcounty.org/adopt
