About Us
From early May through late October - our Sightseeing / Nature Cruise offers the highlights of Acadia National Park as we cruise the shoreline of Bar Harbor. See seals, eagles, osprey, harbor porpoise, vintage summer mansions, rocky cliffs, lobster boats at work, Egg Rock Lighthouse and more on this 2 hour cruise of Frenchman Bay. Bar Harbor's longest running and most popular cruise - departing daily from the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel, 119 Eden St. with Free Onsite Parking! AND the Sightseeing / Nature Cruise is PET FRIENDLY!! This trip goes the entire season.
In the spring - from mid-May through the end of June - we also offer our Puffins, Lighthouses and Seabirds tour. A great trip for the birder in your family! this 3 & 1/2 hour trip takes you offshore to Petit Manan Island where the puffins nest. Once out there we 'sit' in the water and the birds tend to come around and fly around the boat - typically excellent sightings of puffins as well as other pelagic seabirds. We also make a stop by Egg Rock Lighthouse and Winter Harbor Light as well as Petit Manan for the lighthouse lovers. See seals, harbor porpoise, eagles, osprey, other wildlife and some of Acadia National Park on the other side of the bay - the very scenic Schoodic Peninsula. Find us at 119 Eden St.,
Mid Summer from June 1st through early September our Family Friendly Fishing Trips are some of the most fun in Frenchman Bay! We stay in protected waters and jig-fish for Pollock, mackerel, Acadian redfish, flounder and codfish. Very family friendly - kids love it!Highlights
