Six homes along the shore of Frenchman Bay within minutes of Acadia National Park. Five homes have 3 bedrooms and one cottage has 2 bedrooms. This traditional Maine cottage offers 2 plus bedrooms, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, living and dining area and a wonderful enclosed porch. It has 2 charming gas wood stoves surrounded by native stone finishes, one in each of the living and family rooms. The original cottage has been visited yearly by repeat guests, both from the states and Europe. The new five hundred square foot family area with fabulous views of Frenchman's Bay have made this vacation home the best of the new and the old. The home has all the amenities to easily accommodate seven. The sunsets are spectacular and can be seen from both living, dining and kitchen as well as the porch. Our 3BR, 3 Bath Cedar Chalet Maine oceanfront rental vacation home, located in Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island Maine, sits high atop a hill overlooking Frenchman Bay. The main floor has a cathedral ceiling with two story glass windows overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. French doors lead to a large deck, perfect for relaxing and dining.
