Young Families Create the Night Sky

Description

Celebrate the wonders of the night sky with a creative morning designed especially for young children and their caregivers. Since little ones are often asleep when the stars come out, this workshop gives families a chance to explore the beauty of the night through art.

Together, you'll rotate through several hands-on art activities, including:

• Create a sparkling paper mosaic star
• Paint a colorful night sky banner
• Pull a simple print to explore texture and pattern
• Experiment with rich midnight blues, glowing moons, and brilliant stars using a variety of age-appropriate materials

This relaxed, process-based workshop encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and family connection while introducing children to different artistic techniques.

After creating, families are invited to bring a snack and stay for a little social time together. If the weather is pleasant, we'll gather under the tent outdoors.
