The town of Winter Harbor is sponsoring the 56th Annual Winter Harbor Lobster Festival on Saturday, August 8, 2020. All are welcome to come and enjoy the activities planned throughout the day for local residents and visitors. Start the morning off with a blueberry pancake breakfast at the Masonic Hall from 6-10 a.m. in Winter Harbor. That will be followed by a craft fair at and around the Winter Harbor gymnasium from 9 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Lobster boat races will take place at Henry Cove at 10 a.m. and a lobster dinner will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. A parade on Main Street in Winter Harbor will start at 5:30 p.m. The lobster dinner includes: lobster, corn on the cob, dessert, coleslaw & drinks. There will be a variety of other foods available, such as coffee, muffins, sandwiches, French fries, cotton candy, kettle corn, nachos and sno-cones. A contra dance will begin at Hammond Hall at 7pm.
