The Village Holidays celebration welcomes guests to the Village Green for free hot cocoa and cookies while carolers will fill the air with the sounds of the season. At 5:00 p.m., Santa Claus will arrive to help light the town Christmas tree and offer a special reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.
Santa Claus will then head to the MDI YMCA where children and families will have a chance to create some holiday crafts or take part in fun activities provided by local businesses.Starting at 8:00 p.m., the annual Midnight Madness Sale will offer an exciting night of holiday shopping with a variety of discounts at local shops.
