Plein Air Painting: Seal Cove

Description

Paint in one of the most beautiful seaside spots on Mount Desert Island with artist Erika Elizabeth at Seal Cove picnic area. Students will learn how to paint water, rocks, and trees to create their own watercolor landscape, surrounded by mountains, a working harbor, and the sea. Erika has a unique style of teaching that encourages watercolor students to play and experiment with their art. It’s an easy walk, with options for painting down on the rocks or near a flat picnic area. Bring your supplies and a chair/towel for sitting on, plus a easel. Materials are available with advance request – please ask for materials in the “Notes” field when you sign up. Meet at Seal Cove.
