March on Mount Desert Street

March is right around the corner and that means it is almost time for the annual March on Mount Desert Street progressive dinner. This year’s event is on a Thursday for the first time. Join the Abbe Museum, St. Saviour’s Church, the Bar Harbor Congregation Church, the YWCA MDI and the Jesup Memorial Library on Thursday, March 5 at starting at 5:15 p.m. for this tasty, free annual tradition.
 
First from 5:15 to 5:30 p.m., students from the Conners Emerson School will present a play at the Abbe Museum to get you ready for the evening. Next, it is on to St. Saviour’s for appetizers from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and then walk down the street to the Congregational Church to sample an array of salads from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Your next stop is the YWCA for soup and bread from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Finally, finish this sweet meal with a tasty dessert at the Jesup at 7 p.m. You will not want to miss this delicious tradition on Mount Desert Street!
