The traditional purpose of yoga asana is to prepare the body and mind for seated meditation. The gentle, accessible postures of this class will open the hips, strengthen the core, relax the upper body and focus the attention. This practice is suitable for all levels of experience, including none. We will use a yoga mat, a strap and blanket(s). The studio has a limited number of props, so you are encouraged to bring your own if possible.
Everyone is invited (though not required) to stay for Zen meditation practice at 6 pm.
