Bar Harbor Music Festival Opera Theatre presents Carmen
On Friday, July 19 at 8:00 p.m., the Bar Harbor Music Festival Opera Theatre presents a fully-staged opera, "Carmen" by Georges Bizet. Audrey Babcock, Mezzo-Soprano is Carmen. "Audrey Babcock's performance as Carmen was a spellbinding tour de force...her self assured characterization was mesmerizing."- Salt Lake Tribune. Directed by Fenlon Lamb, with Cara Chowning as Music Director, Carmen takes place in the recently renovated 1932 Criterion Theatre in Bar Harbor.
