Art & Sip Playing with Fused Glass

Description

Relax, create, and enjoy a night out at ArtWaves! Our Art & Sip workshops are designed to be fun, beginner-friendly experiences where you can explore a new creative skill in a relaxed and welcoming environment. No prior experience is needed—our instructors will guide you step by step, and all materials are provided.  BYOB.

ArtWaves Art & Sip programs offers unique beginner friendly projects to pair with your favorite beverage. BYOB or enjoy our teas as you begin your weekend and make your very own fused glass sun catcher. In this Fuse and Sip we will cover the basics of glass crafting and material science.

We will be playing with fire where you will get a mini taste of flame working with stringer bending. Culminating in your very own piece of art that you can add copper wire and make it wall hangable. The firing process will be covered but it lasts overnight, students will come back to pick up their art at a later time. Each student will get 2 x 4 inches of kiln estate with some leftover space for little experiments, perhaps wearable.
