Join businesses throughout Bar Harbor for one of our community’s favorite annual shopping traditions!

How to Participate

Local businesses are invited to create an Early Bird special, discount, promotion, or experience for shoppers on November 14.

Your offer is completely up to you! Participating businesses can offer a storewide discount, special pricing on select items, a limited-time promotion, giveaway, or another creative offer that makes sense for your business.

And, of course, we encourage you and your team to join in the tradition and wear your pajamas!

Why Participate?

The Early Bird Pajama Sale is an opportunity to bring customers through your doors during the fall season while being part of a longstanding Bar Harbor tradition.

The Chamber will promote the event and participating businesses leading up to November 14, giving shoppers the opportunity to see where to go and what specials will be offered throughout town.

The more businesses that participate, the more reasons we give residents and visitors to spend their morning shopping, dining, and exploring Bar Harbor.

Promote Your Early Bird Special

Once registration closes, the Chamber will compile participating businesses and their offers into our 2026 Early Bird promotions.

To make sure your business and special are included, please submit your information by the registration deadline.

Registration Deadline: Friday, October 30th by 5pm.

 

New This Year: Early Bird Breakfast Specials

This year, we're expanding the Early Bird Pajama Sale to include breakfast specials from participating Bar Harbor restaurants, cafés, and other businesses serving breakfast!

If your business serves breakfast, we'd love to have you join the fun by offering an Early Bird Pajama Breakfast Special on November 14. Whether it's a featured breakfast item, special pricing, a pajama-themed offering, or another creative idea, it's another way to participate in the morning and welcome Early Bird shoppers through your doors.

To participate, use the same Early Bird registration form below and simply specify your breakfast offering when registering.

Keep the Fun Going

We're working to make this year's Early Bird Pajama Sale an even bigger experience throughout Bar Harbor and encourage attendees to stay in town beyond the morning.

If your business would like to offer an additional special, activity, food or drink offering, or another experience during the day, we'd love to hear about it!
