Say hello to Rowan, our delightful Pet of the Week. This sweet, two-year-old cat is full of quiet charm and is just waiting for the right person to help her come out of her shell. Rowan can be a bit shy when she first meets new people, but with a little patience and kindness, she warms up into an incredibly affectionate and snuggly companion. She loves finding a cozy spot to curl up in and will happily soak in all the gentle attention you’re willing to give.

Rowan’s journey hasn’t been the easiest - she didn’t get along with the other cats in her previous home, but now that she’s been spayed, she’s feeling more balanced and open minding. Spaying can often help reduce tension and territorial behavior, and with slow, careful introductions, it’s possible she could learn to coexist peacefully with a calm feline friend. She would also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, soaking up all the love just for herself.

Right now, Rowan’s fur is still growing back after what we believe was flea dermatitis, but she’s healing beautifully and her soft coat is coming in nicely. She’s looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe, settle in at her own pace, and be treasured for the sweet soul she is. If you’re looking for a gentle companion to share quiet moments and cozy snuggles, Rowan might just be the perfect match.
