Friday, April 24, 2026Spring Prescribed Burns Planned for Acadia National Park: (4/24/2026)
The National Park Service (NPS) is planning to conduct prescribed burns in Acadia National Park throughout the weekend of April 25, provided weather and fuel conditions are within the prescribed ranges established in the park’s prescribed fire plan. If conditions do not allow for the prescribed burns to take place as planned, NPS will complete them before May 15, 2026.Prescribed fire at Jordan Pond in 2024.
