Whether you're enjoying a laid-back lunch or a sunset dinner, the Terrace Grille offers a relaxed, scenic setting with front-lawn seating just steps from the water. Sip on handcrafted cocktails and enjoy a taste of Maine with fresh, locally inspired dishes—all while soaking up the coastal charm of downtown Bar Harbor.

Our menu features a variety of fresh seafood, healthy salads, hearty sandwiches, and burgers, along with local beer and regionally inspired cocktails. The must-try Downeast Lobster Bake includes steamed mussels and clams, a freshly caught 1¼-pound Maine lobster, roasted red potatoes, corn on the cob, blueberry cornbread, and a slice of wild Maine blueberry pie.

From midday bites to golden hour dining, the Terrace Grille is the ideal stop after a day exploring Acadia National Park or strolling through town.

The Terrace Grille stays open if weather permits, sometimes into the night in summer. On inclement days lunch is served in the Reading Room.
