Ibu Movement Pop-Up at The Romantic Room

Ibu Movement, a global nonprofit and marketplace for female artisans, is hosting pop up at La Tente at The Romantic Room in Northeast Harbor from Monday, July 29 through Wednesday, July 31 from 9 am - 5 pm each day. A little bit about Ibu Movement, Ibu is a global nonprofit and marketplace disrupting poverty and fashioning change for over 100 female artisans and communities in over 40 countries around the world. Ibu celebrates the imagination and skill of women all over the world by finding a market for their heritage craft and bold, hand-made luxury. Shopping Ibu Movements clothing, jewelry, accessories, and gifts supports more than 15,000 women in real life and life-changing ways. Among the items they'll be featuring at the pop-up are tunics and jackets handmade in Uzbekistan, beaded clutches from artisans in India, and select items from their recent collaboration with celebrated designer, Charlotte Moss, that range from embroidered dresses from Morocco to ornate jewelry from Colombia.
