On Sunday July 25, 2021, Mount Desert artist R. Scott Baltz will hold an open studio from noon to 5 p.m. Recent paintings of the Mount Desert Island landscape will be on display. The studio is located at 46 Parker Farm Road, Mount Desert. Baltz's studio has been open to the public since 2002. If you cannot make the open studio day, the studio is open by appointment this summer. Baltz is currently represented by Maine Art Hill in Kennebunk and Littlefield Gallery in Winter Harbor.
