Indulge your sweet tooth at the 2nd Annual Island Connections' Sugar Showdown, presented by Bar Harbor Savings & Loan and Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center! Join us from 4-6pm on Saturday, February 8th at the Atlantic Oceanside in Bar Harbor for an afternoon of delectable delights, live music from Washboard Rebellion, and plenty of family-friendly fun. Whether you have a passion for baking or simply love savoring delicious treats, this event promises something for everyone. Bakers of all levels are showcasing their talents in three categories: Blueberry Bliss, Sweet Surprise, and Showstopper Cakes. Exercise your vote and help crown the Community Favorite Award! This year’s event includes fun activities for kids, delicious charcuterie courtesy of Atlantic Oceanside, and a cash bar, plus a raffle to bring home one of the spectacular Showstopper Cakes! Admission is $10 per person in advance or $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at https://islconnections.org/. Bakers get free entry; competition registration remains open until January 31! All proceeds from this event directly support Island Connections’ mission of providing free transportation and services to seniors and people with disabilities, enhancing their independence and quality of life.
