Enjoy some midsummer night’s magic being enlightened by and about fireflies. Lightning bugs send secret flash messages to one another…find out how to decode their mysterious language. Bring a net and a jar to catch (and release) some fireflies. Woodlawn’s nature programs, led by naturalist Lynn Havsall, are a fun learning experience open for all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Nature programs are free and open to the public. Donations, however, are greatly appreciated.
Space is limited. Reservations are required at: https://woodlawnmuseum.com/event/fireflies/
