Dick Dimond, a retired physician, the Steering Committee Chair of the Hancock County Adult Drug Treatment Court, and a Board member of the Acadia Family Center, will speak at the Southwest Harbor Public Library about the serious health care crisis of addiction. It’s known that individuals under the age of 23-25 are at increased risk of developing a substance use disorder because of the immaturity of their brains. This talk will explore some of the issues involved and promote prevention and education. For more information, please call the Library, 244-7065.
