Hancock County Young Professionals

Created in May 2025 to give young professionals in our area a place to connect, build relationships, and become more involved in our community. The idea is simple: while summer is busy here on MDI, we want to create a strong community of young professionals so that when things quiet down and winter arrives, we already have a network of people we know, work with, and can turn to.

We meet monthly for a mix of social gatherings, catered meetings, networking opportunities, and professional development sessions. Throughout the year, we invite professionals from different industries to share their experience, offer insight into their fields, and take part in a short Q&A.

Whether you're new to the area, new to your career, or have been here for years, our meetings are a great way to get connected, meet new people, and become more integrated into the community.

Our group is led by Co-Chairs Janina Timbro and Montana Stephens, along with Events Chair Jill Rossi, who help bring our members together, plan events, and create opportunities for young professionals across the area to get involved.
