Rise, Align & Flow
Arrive and enjoy quiet stillness; warm up and energize the body, and leave class ready to enter the rest of your day with vitality and equanimity. This gentle/moderate class is designed with the foundational poses that make up a well-rounded asana practice. Emphasis is placed on safe and effective alignment and on honoring individuals’ energetic levels at the start of the day. Each class will address balance poses, the six motions of the spine, and all major muscles groups and connective tissues.
There will always be the option to slow down and find a gentle version or to increase the intensity. A good class for those new to asana, as well as those with years of experience. Come and experience the effects of these core poses on body, breath, mind, and spirit. The ultimate aim of Yoga goes way beyond the body! This is a donation class where all proceeds (after rent) will go to environmental non-profits.
I love having visitors attend and can provide all the information you will need for hiking and biking in the park. I am in the park close to 365 days a year. Bring a map!
