Modern/Contemporary Forms Dance Class: Adult Class
with Dani Robbins. This gentle but rigorous dance class is for anyone with movement experience or simply with an interest in dance. Drawing from both classical and modern dance forms, participants will work to develop a movement vocabulary that is spacious and articulate. Classes will begin with a thorough warm-up rooted in anatomy, and move through a series of movement phrases that will prepare us for full-bodied dancing. Somatic exercises will be investigated and integrated into our larger movement patterning. This course is designed to find comfortable movement for bodies of any age.
