DESCRIPTION:Meet fellow sewers to make reusable produce bags that will be given to local farms\, markets and food pantries. Unwanted clothing and fabric has a detrimental effect on the environment and this is an easy way to upcycle and make a difference. These bags will replace plastic produce bags that are difficult and costly to recycle. \n\nParticipants will leave with your own produce bag as well as leaving some bags to be shared. Machines\, sergers\, patterns\, notions and fabric will be available. Please bring your own machine if you have one. Bring your own washed cotton or cotton blends from the "fabric stash" or use our washed donated fabrics. \n\nWe are looking forward to stitching together with a purpose.
