DESCRIPTION:Cruise Dutch and Belgian waterways with Bob and Sue Pennington at a talk and slideshow at the Jesup Memorial Library on Friday\, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. The Penningtons visited Holland and Belgium to explore the country and they also visited during tulip season and will also share photos of these amazing fields of flowers.\n\n \n\nSome of the many places they visited include the cities of Amsterdam\, Volendam\, Edam\, Arnhem\, Willemstad\, Kinderdijk and Nijmegen as well as Het Loo Palace and Keukenhof Gardens in the Netherlands\, and Antwerp and Ghent in Belgium. The Penningtons will talk about the history\, art and architecture of the region both before World War II and how it changed in the following years. \n\n \n\nThe Penningtons are retired educators from the Philadelphia area and moved to Bar Harbor in 2002. Bob pursues his photography and water color hobbies.
