After graduation from the California Culinary Academy\, she worked as a pastry  chef in the San Francisco Bay area. Since moving to Maine in 2000\, she has worked as a  professional pastry chef\, owned a dessert catering company and\, for more than 15 years\, taught  cooking classes. She has a passion for cooking and baking\, and for teaching people of all ages.
