Make interesting and functional creative wall pockets out of clay. These are fun for plants\, pencils\, keys or whatever. We will have a variety of textures\, embellishments and forms. The class will be fun for anyone from beginner to those with clay experience. The wall pockets will be available to take home approximately 1 week after the class\, following a kiln fire. Students can return to glaze their pockets on July 25 in the glaze class. The items can also be painted at home. These options will be discussed during the class. All ages are welcome\, but those under 8 will require an adult to be with them during the class. The cost includes materials. Bring a LARGE leaf if you want to make a leaf wall pocket. Other necessary materials will be provided. Instructor: Kim Nadel NOTE: All outdoor classes are weather-dependent\; we will make the call in the morning by 9 am. Also\, because of safety issues with COVID-19\, there will be no restroom facilities available. All participants must wear a mask or other nose &\; mouth covering (scarf\, bandana) during class.
