DESCRIPTION:Rebecca Goodall Pop Up Books\n\nSaturday\, August 18\, 9-3 pm In the morning\, we will work with cutaway pages and a compound structure. In the afternoon\, we will make a cloth and book board binding for the same book. Tools & supplies you will want to have on hand: Scissors x-acto knife & blades self-healing cutting mat pencil ruler bone (manilla) folder brush and ink\, markers\, or colored pencils - whichever you enjoy making marks with. Photos or sketches of your garden or favorite plants Paper & glue will be provided There will be some extra tools for you to borrow if you are missing something. Her current project\, Threatened and Endangered\, is inspired by Maine's rare plants and animals. Her work is in numerous collections including Bowdoin College Library\; The Maine Women Writers Collection\; New York Public Library\; Herron Art Library\, IN\; Hawai'i State Art  Museum\; and the White House Ornament Collection. She is the Faculty Director of the University of Southern Maine's Book Arts at Stone House. Rebecca is represented by the Turtle Gallery in Deer Isle and by Vamp and Tramp Booksellers in Birmingham\, AL.
