DESCRIPTION:.   \nPumpkin Carving &\n\nFireside Storytime\n\nSunday\, October 29\n\n5-7pm\n\n \n\n \n\nCome carve jack o'lanterns and paint pumpkins to decorate your doorstep for Halloween! ArtWaves supplies the pumpkins.  Cider and hot cocoa will be served as we light our jack'o' lanterns\, and sit together by the fireside for poetry and storytime inspired by the shifting seasons! \n\nStorytime sneak peak! We will kick things off with "Song of the Witches" from Shakespeare's MacBeth (copies will be available so we can all read it together!):\n\n"Double\, double toil and trouble\;\n\nFire burn and caldron bubble.\n\nFillet of a fenny snake\,\n\nIn the caldron boil and bake\;\n\nEye of newt and toe of frog\,\n\nWool of bat and tongue of dog\,\n\nAdder's fork and blind-worm's sting\,\n\nLizard's leg and howlet's wing\,\n\nDouble\, double toil and trouble\;\n\nFire burn and caldron bubble.\n\nCool it with a baboon's blood\,\n\nThen the charm is firm and good.\n\nFor a charm of powerful trouble\,\n\nLike a hell-broth boil and bubble!" \n\nChildren under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.\n\n$5 registration fee per person or $5 for families. \n\nCostumes welcome!\n\n\n\n\n\nThank you to Coastal Maine Realty for supporting this event!
