The speakers will explore the different facets of how gene research is affecting the treatment of different diseases from cancer to ALS. Come learn about how your genes can affect your healthcare in the years to come. \n\n \n\nThe first event in the series is on Thursday\, June 13 at 7 p.m. Join Dr. Ewlina Bolcun-Filas\, an Assistant Professor at JAX\, for "Preserving the Future: How does Cancer Treatment Affect Fertility?" When many women are diagnosed with cancer\, they are left to grapple with the fact that cancer treatment often can have a negative impact on their fertility in the future.
