DESCRIPTION:Join Sue Charles and Ann Musto for two days of plein air painting on Little Cranberry Island\, a working harbor full of lobster boats and unmatched views of the Great Harbor and its many Islands. Emphasis will be on honing observation skills\, massing the main shapes for strong composition and perceiving the landscape abstractly. With over 35 years of painting experience between them\, Sue and Ann have lots of practical advice to share and will take turns painting/demonstrating and giving individual attention to each participant. Short talks\, handouts\, materials for warm-up sketches provided. Two-hour lunch break allows participants to explore Little Cranberry\, too.
