DESCRIPTION:Join 13 mystery authors\, many of them award-winning bestselling authors\, for the fourth Annual Murder by the Book at the Jesup Memorial Library on Fri.\, Oct. 26 and Sat.\, Oct. 27. The featured authors this year include keynote speaker David Rosenfelt\, and mystery and thriller writers Brenda Buchanan\, Dorothy Cannell\, Richard Cass\, Bruce Coffin\, Stephanie Gayle\, Vaughn Hardacker\, James Hayman\, Lynne Raimondo\, Nicole Seavey\, Jane Sloven\, Julia Spencer-Fleming and James Ziskin.\n\n \n\nOn Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.\, hear from the writers themselves as they talk about their books\, inspiration and much more. There will be book signings all day as well as a keynote talk with David Rosenfelt at noon. Rosenfelt is the author of more than 27 books\, including the Andy Carpenter series about a lawyer and his golden retriever Tara. His newest book in the series "Deck the Hounds" comes out the week before Murder the Book. There will be panels with experts including lawyers\, a police officer\, a book store owner and executive director of the New England Independent Bookseller's Association. Prizes will be given away throughout the day.
