DESCRIPTION:Modern Dance Technique (Teen/Adult) In this introductory level class\, we'll work to develop a movement practice that centers both self-care and togetherness. We'll work to access availability\, spaciousness\, presence\, and pleasure both individually and collectively. Students will investigate basic patterns of choreography\, experimenting with principles of velocity and momentum and exploring personal and shared movement impulses. ArtWaves Dance Center. 1345A HWY 102 Bar Harbor To Register: https://artwavesmdi.org/event-4753439 Mondays from 6:15pm to 7:15pm April 4th\, 11th\, 18th\, and 25th\, 2022 $58 for 4 sessions ($48 for members) Or sign up for 1 or 2 sessions at $15 each. Teens and Adults of all skill levels Participants of diverse abilities\, needs\, and backgrounds are encouraged to participate. Dance experience is welcomed\, but not necessary. Masks\, vax'd (over 5)\, and distancing for staff and participant safety.
