DESCRIPTION:Get started with nature journaling in a workshop at the Wendell Gilley Museum on Saturday\, April 29\, from 10:30am to noon. Scientists\, artists\, and outdoor enthusiasts all utilize nature journaling\, a skill that is accessible to anyone. Using real scientific practices and artistic abandon\, participants will walk away with a small nature journal of their own. All materials will be provided.\n\n \n\n"Nature journaling is a wonderful way to engage observational skills\, curiosity\, and creative thinking\," says Matt Cornish of Camp Beech Cliff\, who will be leading this workshop. "Regardless of age\, people need nature. People also need the time and space to slow down\, notice the world around them\, and hopefully experience wonder."\n\n \n\nThe class meets in person at the Wendell Gilley Museum\, 4 Herrick Rd. in Southwest Harbor.
