DESCRIPTION:Intro to Felted Fiber Art Learn the basics of felting with natural fibers and how to embellish your finished piece! Saturday June 18th\, 2022\, from 10:00am to 12:30pm\, please arrive early to settle in before class begins. ARTWAVES 1345A Hwy 102 Bar Harbor 207-266-0010 To Register: https://artwavesmdi.org/event-4849018 $50 with materials included ($40 for members) Ages 14 years and up of all skill levels Masks\, vax'd (over 5)\, and distancing for staff and participant safety. About the instructor: Gabrielle is a young illustrator and multimedia artist. She grew up on a small island in Maine\, and consistently finds her art influenced by her upbringing. She worked for the Illustration institute based out of Portland Maine in 2020 producing a short documentary series about how drawing influences thinking. Gabrielle is currently enrolled at College of the Atlantic and is on course to graduate with a study in visual narratives. When she's not drawing or crafting you can find her planning her next cross-country bike tour.
