This is a longer version of the weekly Relax\, Reflect\, Recharge class\, focused on our monthly theme. (Attendance at the weekly Relax\, Reflect\, Recharge class is not required.) During this three-hour session you will be guided through an experience of art\, meditation and movement\, with an emphasis on puppetry. The monthly theme is working with guilt to deepen our roots of Trust. Using found objects and our imagination\, we will create puppets\, and then use them to address the storylines of guilt\, moving us to greater Response-Ability. Class starts in the Dance Studio for meditation and movement\, then proceeds to the Kaleidoscope Studio for puppet making. We return to the dance studio where we complete the workshop with sound current healing.\n\n\n\nAbout the Instructor: Lelania Avila is a multi-media process artist who works in the media of animation/video production\, block printing\, calligraphy\, collage\, poetry and puppetry. Lelania (she\, we\, tributary) playfully approaches challenges\, embracing emotions as a guide to inner wisdom. She builds community through the healing arts: Art of Listening\, Art of Slowing Down\, Art of Interruptions!\, and the Art of Simply Being. With gratitude to get to live\, work and play in the homeland of the Wabanaki Confederacy\, she is dedicated to becoming a better ancestor and global citizen. She is currently working on a multi-media project called "The Ism-Schism from the Inside Out".
