SUMMARY:Identifying Maine’s Edible and Medicinal Mushrooms
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered about the mushrooms growing in your yard or along the paths in the forest?  Greg Marley who is the founder of Mushrooms for Health and author of several books on mushrooms will be giving a talk as well as leisurely walk in the woods looking for fresh mushrooms to identify in this workshop.  He brings over 25 years in leading public walks and classes on mushroom appreciation and has specialized in the use of medicinal mushrooms. This is a fun and engaging class for all ages.  The class will meet in the Sleigh Barn at 9:00am.  You will need water\, a bag lunch and hiking shoes.  The agenda is attached here.\n\nAll workshops include a tour of the Black House at your convenience.
