SUMMARY:Hand Building with Clay
DESCRIPTION:In this two part workshop\, students will learn hand building slab construction techniques. Together we will construct two forms. We will start with an altered cylinder vase form. Followed by a vessel formed and constructed with slabs of clay. \n\nOur teacher\, Susan Keller\, will provide all the tools needed. The pieces you create in class will be bisqued fired by our instructor. On Wednesday (July 31st 12-2pm)\, students will learn glazing techniques. The instructor will then glaze fire all pieces. Your completed pieces will be available for the student to pick up on the following Saturday.
