DESCRIPTION:Ellsworth: Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County is offering a free online grief support group for those who have lost a loved one. Meetings will be weekly for eight weeks from September 27 through November 19\, with the weekday and time to be determined according to the availability of registered participants. Grieving through this time of social isolation and ongoing coronavirus news can be especially challenging. You are not alone. Support from others who have also experienced a loss can help you cope with the pain of grief. This group is confidential and free of charge. A great way to find support and make friends. Note for First Responders: Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County appreciates all that our First Responders do for our community\, and have heard from some members of this group that meeting with others who share their experience could be helpful. So\, this series of support groups is offering a special group for First Responders. Registration is the same as for other groups\, using the information below\, and there is a place to designate First Responder. Register by Friday September 10 by visiting www.hospiceofhancock.org and clicking on Grief Support\, or by calling the Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County office at 667-2531.
