DESCRIPTION:The session kicks off with an  introduction to the process\, where participants are greeted by a wall of colorful roving fibers and some of the Selkie Sauna crew.\n\nWith a bit  of merriment we learn the art of measuring\, making a pattern\,  teasing the raw wool\, laying out roving and best of all designing with color for whimsical and functional sauna hats. \n\nWearing a sauna hat helps keep your body temperature constant throughout the session. The hat protects your head and ears from getting too hot. The  hand felted hat is seamless and wool is antibacterial and dirt repellent. Soak it in cold water to cool your head. Protect your noggin in the sauna!\n\nThe tactile pleasure of working with soft\, pliable fibers becomes a therapeutic meditation\, as we tease\, mold\, and shape the material into unique\, wearable art. Our felted sauna hat workshop is a celebration of creativity\, community\, and the sheer delight of felting.  Join us for workshop filled with rolling\, slamming\, color\, laughter\, and the satisfaction ofcreating a gorgeous sauna hat.
