DESCRIPTION:Put on your dancing shoes and join Big Moose Band for a contra dance at the Jesup Memorial Library on Saturday\, July 27. The caller for the evening will be Mike Fay and he will have you dancing in no time. \n\n \n\nThe evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a free dance where you can learn the steps and brush up on your contra dance knowledge. This is great if you have never contra danced before or who want to make sure you know the steps. It is also a great time for families to try contra dancing. From 7:30 p.m. on there is an $8 requested donation per person or $25 per family to help pay the caller. Children younger than 12 can dance for free. \n\n \n\nThat night the Big Moose Band will provide amazing music that will have you wanting to dance. Big Moose features some of the area's finest musicians including Ruth Grierson\, Keith Davis\, Jim Vekasi\, Charlie Richardson\, Fred Benson\, Ed Damm and Anne Damm\, among others.\n\n \n\nFor more information on the dance\, contact the Jesup at 207-288-4245.
