SUMMARY:Christmas in July--Clay Ornaments
DESCRIPTION:In this all-levels class\, you can make a variety of ornaments for your holiday decorations\, gifts\, or to hang on your tree. These are slab creations which will emphasize textures and embellishments. Your creations will be available to take home approximately 1 week after the class\, following a kiln fire. Students can then return to glaze them on July 25. They can also be painted at home. These finish options will discussed during the class. All ages are welcome but those under 8 will require an adult to be with them during the class. The cost includes all materials. Instructor: Kim Nadel NOTE: All outdoor classes are weather-dependent\; we will make the call in the morning by 9 am. Also\, because of safety issues with COVID-19\, there will be no restroom facilities available. All participants must wear a mask or other nose & mouth covering (scarf\, bandana) during class. Please do not attend programs if you have any symptoms or are feeling ill. Cost: $40 members\; $50 nonmembers.
