Do you like to draw creatures that you make up in your mind? Then this is the perfect workshop for you! In this workshop you will learn how to make a block print starting from a sketch. No previous experience is required! ArtWaves 1345A Hwy 102 Bar Harbor 207-266-0010 To Register: https://artwavesmdi.org/event-4900398 Wednesday Aug 10th\, 2022\, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm\, please arrive early to settle in before class begins. $45 with materials included ($35 for members) Teens/Adults of all skill levels Masks\, vax'd (over 5)\, and distancing for staff and participant safety. About the instructor: Gabrielle is a young illustrator and multimedia artist. She grew up on a small island in Maine\, and consistently finds her art influenced by her upbringing. She worked for the Illustration institute based out of Portland Maine in 2020 producing a short documentary series about how drawing influences thinking. Gabrielle is currently enrolled at College of the Atlantic and is on course to graduate with a study in visual narratives. When she's not drawing or crafting you can find her planning her next cross-country bike tour.
