DESCRIPTION:The MDI YMCA is co-sponsoring a viewing of the 2023 Global World tour of the Trail Running Film Festival on Saturday\, April 22nd at the Criterion at 7:00 pm. \n\nThe Trail Running Film Festival is an event that is getting back to in-person viewings and what better place to bring the running and active communities together for a film festival than in the shadow of the greatest running national park in the country! \n\nThe mission from the Trail Running Film Festival Website lists: \n\n\n\n...is to celebrate running as a universal practice to explore our collective and individual potential and pursue our wildest dreams.\n\nWe accomplish this by documenting the culture of trail running\, supporting filmmakers and creatives\, and hosting events that bring our community together.\n\nWe are committed to promoting inclusivity\, adventure\, wilderness\, art\, and diversity across the trail and ultra community.\n\nThey can be found at: https://www.trailfilmfest.com/\n\n \n\nThe showing is Saturday\, April 22nd starting at 7:00 pm at the Criterion Theatre in Bar Harbor. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. We will have some great community partnerships going and there will be food and drink for sale. During intermission there will be raffle prizes\, everyone at the show is eligible for these great prizes. \n\nTickets for the floor seats are $12 and balcony seats are $15. Proceeds go to benefit the MDI YMCA.
