DESCRIPTION:Famed fisherman\, boat captain\, and best-selling author Linda Greenlaw will be at the Jesup Memorial Library on Tuesday\, June 26 at 7 p.m. for the international launch of the fourth book in her Jane Bunker mystery series\, "Bimini Twist\," which is set in Bar Harbor. Her event at the Jesup is the kick off of her book tour and she will be speaking at the library the night the book is released.  \n\n \n\nIn "Bimini Twist\," Jane Bunker has scored an invite to Green Haven's exclusive Summer Solstice Soiree but that's the last place she wants to be\; hobnobbing and making small talk with the upper crust isn't exactly her idea of a good time. She prefers to put in her hours working as an insurance investigator\, and part-time as the deputy sheriff. When she gets to work one morning\, the sheriff asks her to take a break on her personal war on drugs instead\, Jane takes on a missing person case a young woman working at the Bar Harbor Inn has disappeared. The Inn employs foreign exchange students from all over the world during the busy summer season\, and the missing Bianca Chiriac is one of them. When it becomes clear that Bianca isn't just sleeping off a late-night party\, Jane is plunged into the underbelly of the resort town\, and must find the missing woman before the worst happens. \n\n\n\n \n\nGreenlaw is the author of the bestsellers "The Hungry Ocean\," "All Fishermen are Liars\," "The Lobster Chronicles\," and "Recipes from a Small Island\," as well as the Jane Bunker mysteries. Before becoming a writer\, she was the captain of a swordboat\, the career that earned her a prominent role in Sebastian Junger's "The Perfect Storm" and a portrayal in the subsequent film.
