DESCRIPTION:with Mike Duffy. 8-12 year olds. In this class we'll go into the various art styles a little more in depth as we learn how to paint with watercolor and other paint mediums. There are projects we will try involving clay and other materials for sculpting. We'll intersperse art history in our art projects in a fun and interesting way. We'll also understand color theory\, like learning what are primary colors and what are complementary colors and how to mix colors. We are all about the process over the product. Kids are encouraged to try things that they don't ordinarily try.
