DESCRIPTION:3D Felted Animals - Aug 2022 Who will you create?! In this workshop you will learn the basics of 3D needle felting and how to turn wool from a fiber mess into a coherent creature. Felted creatures make great gifts or decorations. Bring reference images of the critter you want to craft. Tuesday Aug 16th\, 2022\, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm\, please arrive early to settle in before class begins. $42 with materials included ($32 for members) Ages 14 to Adults of all skill levels ArtWaves 1345A Hwy 102 Bar Harbor 207-266-0010 About the instructor: Gabrielle is a young illustrator and multimedia artist. She grew up on a small island in Maine\, and consistently finds her art influenced by her upbringing. She worked for the Illustration institute based out of Portland Maine in 2020 producing a short documentary series about how drawing influences thinking. Gabrielle is currently enrolled at College of the Atlantic and is on course to graduate with a study in visual narratives. When she's not drawing or crafting you can find her planning her next cross-country bike tour.
